SEASONAL OBSERVANCES & EVENTS (RELIGIOUS AND NON-RELIGIOUS)
February-May - PARTNERS IN MISSION (SELF DENIAL)
During the season of Lent, we deny ourselves so that others may be blessed. All Salvation Army territories and commands, whether financially independent or grant aided, contribute to the International Self-Denial Appeal (which we term Partners in Mission). This serves as an example of what it means to be partners in mission and ministry,─standing shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand. Canada and Bermuda partners with Mexico, Tanzania, Liberia, Germany, Spain, Hong Kong and Macau, Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar. While our territory responds to needs in many other countries, we have a special responsibility to support these seven territories/commands financially and prayerfully. For more info visit: http://salvationist.ca/action-support/partnersinmission/

MARCH/APRIL - The period of LENT and EASTER WEEKEND

Check out our Church Calendar page to find out which church is hosting the event on the Thursdays during the period of lent. Also check out what is happening Easter Weekend at the Church.
JUNE - REGULAR PROGRAMS FINISH UP FOR THE SUMMER

Programs that take a rest are: KidzOwn, Junior Band, Youth Group, Bible Study's, Women's Prayer & Coffee. However you will want to check out the Church Calendar to see what regular events are still happening during the summer and also to check out Special Events that may be posted.
